In light of the new development at Bertha Park, Perth Presbytery has designated the area a Presbytery Mission Initiative (PMI). PMIs allow local congregations to support outreach in an area outside of their parish.
Riverside’s Leaders have taken on the role of supervising this work and we are also represented on the PMI Core Leadership Team. Anne Stott has recently taken on the pioneer role of Community Minister to develop the work at Bertha Park.
This mission initiative provides an exciting opportunity to dream about how to develop a new Christian community. It is also an opportunity for us to help Bertha Park fulfil its potential to be a great neighbourhood and community.
